“Jelly Palm is native to parts of South America.
It can grow to 20 feet in height and is noted for its palms tolerating temperatures minus 10 degrees.
The fruit is tart and sweet when ripe, a big cherry in size, the colour being yellow or orange and the taste is described as a mix of pineapple, apricot and vanilla.
