“Llangernyw Tree is said to be between 4000-5000 years old.

It is an ancient yew tree that can be found in the churchyard of St. Dygain’s Church in Llangernyw village, North Wales, UK. The circumference of the tree at ground level is 35 feet.

The Tree Council, in celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in June 2002 designated this tree as one of the Fifty Great British trees in recognition of its place in national heritage.”
