Red Maple

“Red Maple is a vibrant and colourful tree.

It a deciduous tree commonly found in USA. It can grow to 50 or 100+ feet in height depending on the environment and can survive for more than 150 years.

The leaves can be 3 to 5 lobed separated by V-shaped angles. The male trees have pinkish red flowers in early spring while the females display decorative red samaras later.

It is used in the making of maple syrup, is a popular bonsai plant and planted as an ornamental tree.”
