“Red ruffed lemurs are tree dwellers found in the forests of Madagascar. It is mainly a fruit-eater and is known to eat leaves, shoots, nectar and seeds too. Their favourite is figs and the IUCN lists it as critically endangered.
It is among the largest of lemurs. Its body is about 20 inches long and their bushy tails are as long as their bodies. ”
