“I am a Slender Loris and spend most of my life in trees!
I am native to India and Sri Lanka. I live on trees and travel along the top of branches slowly. My huge round eyes give me excellent night vision that enables me to hunt at night.
I am nocturnal, feed on plants, fruits, etc. and have a lifespan of around 15 years. I am locally called Kaadu Paapa (forest baby) in Kannada and Kutti thevangu in Tamil. I am an endangered species accorded the highest protection under Indian law. ”
