Mouse Lemurs

Native to Madagascar, it has the smallest known brain of any primate at just 2 grams or 0.004 pounds. #Madagascar is home to lemurs and trees that cannot be found in any other place in the world.

It spends most of its time in trees and can move nimbly from branch to branch and tree to tree. It sleeps aloft during the day and forages at night for insects, fruits, flowers and other plants. Scientists last week discovered three new mouse lemur species.
